Giganotosaurus carolinii

The above is scaled based on quadrate lenght, given as 44 cm by Coria and Currie in their paper on the braincase of this species, and based on the outline-reconstruction with shots of the preserved elements in Coria and Salgado (1995).

Two notable things:
-The size of the skull varies significantly depending on how much longer you restore the lower ramus of the maxilla. At barest minimum (see my next upload) it should turn out at close to 1.5m, I would regard the reconstruction you see above as an upper bount, but not an unreasonable one.
-Contrary to popular belief and some visual comparisons, this is actually a surprisingly deep, robust skull, especially the maxilla whose main ramus is among the deepest I've ever seen.

Of course the 1.8-1.95 m figure was utterly exaggerated, but the actual way the skull is drawin in the description may well be accurate.
